Case Theory
A cooperative deduction game for two players, one device.
The Detective sees the evidence. The Accuser must deduce the truth
from a limited number of verbal hints. No servers. No two cases alike.
Study the Evidence
Read every clue carefully and commit the case to memory — the grid below shows the full solution. In a moment the device passes to the Accuser, who will see only the written evidence. Do not let them peek!

Case Board — the solution
The Interrogation Begins
Hand the device to the Accuser. The Detective must now be out of the loop — they will listen to the Accuser's verdict, then check if it holds.
- The Accuser studies the evidence log on the next screen.
- The Accuser deduces the full solution and enters it on their verdict form.
- The Detective may give up to 3 hints if asked — each hint must be a single yes/no statement (e.g. "Was Alice the knife?") and costs one token.
- When the Accuser submits, the Detective verifies. Match = case closed. Mismatch = case reopened (tokens keep spending).
Deduction Board
Study the evidence. If stuck, ask the Detective a yes/no question — it costs a token. The Detective must answer honestly.

Asked Hints
Ask the Detective
The Detective answers honestly out loud, then taps Yes or No. Each question spends one token.
Your Verdict
After submitting, pass the device back to the Detective to verify.
